City nights in rain
Lights reflecting on the street
Peace in the chaos
haiku | 01
Freedom is falling
Freedom is rising back up
Freedom, the unknown
haiku | 02
Purpose is pulsing
The heart intensely beating
Engulfed in passion
haiku | 03
First sun of summer
Glowing rays of light and hope;
Renew us again.
haiku | 04
Our world is not the same without you,
But heaven is better with you there.
A part of us left the Earth that day,
But part of you stayed with us here.
memorial poem · elegiac quatrain
To have emotional intensity like the sun burning on the hottest day,
To be as volatile as a volcano on the verge of eruption,
To feel as though your heart may burst at any moment;
This is to have war in your body and yet be at peace with yourself
For you know you are living fully.
